Yoga Therapy

Essentially, yoga therapy is the application of yoga practices to alleviate physical and mental health conditions with the view of promoting self-care and encouraging overall well-being. Whilst the practice of yoga in general aims to cultivate the body and mind and hence has the potential for therapeutic effects, in yoga therapy we are using specific yoga practices and their known benefits to help alleviate or improve mental and physical ailments.

Hatha Yoga

The type of yoga that typically comes to mind when you think of yoga. It involves breathing, yoga poses, and meditation.

Yogalates

Yogalates is an exercise that combines yoga and Pilates. It taps into the physical and mental benefits of both practices. It is a comprehensive exercise system.

Gentle Yoga

A soft practice, linking together poses with the breath and requiring less strength and endurance than a regular Flow class.

Slow Flow

In this Slow Flow class, you will practice about half the number of poses you might practice in a Flow class. It is a combination in between Vinyasa Flow and Hatha Yoga. The pace is meditative, with the emphasis on a peaceful and calm body and mind.

Morning Yoga

An energizing, yet calming and gentle way to start the day. Aiming at bringing clarity to the mind and awakening the body.
