The Yoga Rescue - Hatha Yoga
The type of yoga that typically comes to mind when you think of yoga. It involves breathing, yoga poses and meditation. A Flow class ads a dynamic to it where you ‘flow’ from one pose to the next with some pauses for added instructions and teacher demonstration.

Pilates Mat

The Yoga Rescue - Pilates Mat

Pilates Mat is a workout to strengthen your body, primarily the muscles of the core.
A strong core is essential in maintaining the physical health and avoiding injuries.

Why you should practice Pilates Mat?
Mat classes give you the benefit of Pilates Toning, flexibility, better posture, more efficient movement, the body/mind connection—just about every benefit the Pilates method has to offer can be achieved through mat work.

Mat classes cover the basics (Neutral spine, a properly engaged core, c-curve, shoulder and pelvic stability, spinal articulation, full breathing, working with oppositional energy) and Pilates Mat work improves Body, Mind & Spirit!

Please note that some classes require reservation in advance. When classes are priced differently your member card can not be used and a separate ticket needs to be purchased.

The Yoga Rescue - Vinyasa

In Vinyasa classes we coordinate the movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next, the term is also used to describe a specific sequence of poses (Chaturanga to upward-facing dog to downward-facing dog), commonly used throughout a vinyasa class.

An asana practice that blends strengthening and softening elements with the purpose of balancing the body and mind.
