Hatha

The Yoga Rescue - Core Power Yoga
The type of yoga that typically comes to mind when you think of yoga. It involves breathing, yoga poses and meditation.
A Flow class ads a dynamic to it where you ‘flow’ from one pose to the next with some pauses for added instructions and teacher demonstration.

Iyengar

First upcoming classes:

The Yoga Rescue - Iyengar
In an Iyengar class there is no flow, so you have time to pay attention to the correct placement and you can deepen your experience of the posture. A lot of attention is paid to details, precision and symmetry in the postures.

Power Yoga

A general term used to describe a vigorous, fitness-based approach to vinyasa-style yoga.

Prenatal Yoga

First upcoming classes:

The Yoga Rescue - Studio
A class to move, relax, unwind and alleviate the little physical discomforts occurring during pregnancy. Suitable from the fourth month of pregnancy.

Booking for this class is required at least 48hrs in advance.


Special classes

First upcoming specials:

Classes with a different theme or that go deeper into a certain element of a yoga practice.

Please note that some classes require reservation in advance. When classes are priced differently your member card can not be used and a separate ticket needs to be purchased.

Online Live Classes are always a separate purchase through Tickets and Reservations in the menu.


Vinyasa

The yoga Rescue - Yoga Pose vinyasa flow
In Vinyasa classes we coordinate the movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next, the term is also used to describe a specific sequence of poses (Chaturanga to upward-facing dog to downward-facing dog), commonly used throughout a vinyasa class.

Yin Yang Yoga

An asana practice that blends strengthening and softening elements with the purpose of balancing the body and mind.
