Ashtanga Yoga for Charity: Give Children a Home

Saturday September 28, 14:00-17:00

The Yoga Rescue - Support for Yayasan Hati Mama

Join us for a special donation-based Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga and make a difference in the lives of children who have lost their parents.

At the orphanage Yayasan Hati Mama in Jimbaran, they provide more than just shelter — they offer a loving home, warm meals, clothing, education, and, most importantly, a safe place where children, from babies to young adults, can grow and thrive.

Your donation will help Ibu Ine to continue her work and give these children a brighter future. Together, we can provide them with the stability and care they deserve. By participating in this class, you’re not only nurturing your own body and soul but also extending that nurturing spirit to those who need it most.

Let’s come together as a community and support these children in need. Every little bit helps to give them hope, love, and a safe place to call home.
Join us and make a positive impact! 🌟

What will you get out of the class

In this special class, we will introduce the fundamentals of Ashtanga, including the eight limbs and the Tristana method, focusing on breath, bandhas, and drishti.

You’ll discover how Ashtanga can lead you to a deeper understanding of yourself. It’s important not just to practice but to understand the “why” and “how” behind our practice.

Included is a led Primary Series class. We conclude the afternoon with a snack (vegan cake) and collect your donation.

This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the universe and humanity, reflecting the kindness we receive through our daily yoga practice.

Yayasan Hati Mama is located in Puri Gading, Jimbaran (Bali). Ibu Ine lovingly takes care of the children in her home and provides them with all they need, but she needs help to do this. Your donation is more than just a financial contribution; it’s a lifeline for children who have lost their parents and have no one else to turn to.

About Rani

Originally from Jakarta, I found my way back on track through Ashtanga yoga. I never expected yoga to bring such peace into my life, which sparked my curiosity to explore different types. Through Ashtanga, I learned discipline, dedication, and how to build a strong mind to navigate any circumstance. The most rewarding part has been getting to know myself better through daily practice.
