Once a week we produce our own Jamu based on a traditional recipe. We do not add any sugar or preservatives and we only use natural ingredients. Therefor the shelf-life of our Jamu is ‘limited’ to 5-6 days from the production date. Since it is healthy and tasty we are certain your bottle will be empty before the expiry date.

If you are interested to purchase a bottle, you are kindly asked to place a pre-order the latest on Wednesday. Your order can be picked up at our Studio on Saturday between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.



Jamu
 is a traditional herbal drink native to Indonesia. It is made from natural ingredients, such as ginger, turmeric and tamarind and has many benefits for your general health. Since 2019, Jamu is officially recognized as one of Indonesia’s intangible cultural heritage.
Although it can be found throughout Indonesia, the island of Java is where it is most prevalent. The ladies that sell jamu, called Mbok Jamu, wear the traditional ‘kebaya’ and carry a bamboo basket on her back, filled with bottles of jamu. She travelles around villages and towns, to offer this traditional herbal medicine.
