Weaving into the Present
a creative mindfulness practice
with Sarita Ibnoe

Being mindful is the key to have a peaceful life. Being fully aware of the self and the surrounding in the present moment is the goal.
Mindfulness is the cognitive skill, usually developed through meditation, of sustaining meta-attention on the contents of one’s own mind in the present moment.
In these few hours of creative mindfulness practice, we are going to explore different kind of meditations: a traditional sitting meditation, meditation through yoga movement and lastly, meditation through weaving.
Weaving is an ancient method of creating a piece of textile that creates a meditative state through its repetitive movement.

12.30 – 13.00 – Light Lunch Break
