A week-long yoga retreat in Bali, where we combine daily yoga with attention, time and space for you to fully immerse yourself in vacation mode.
It’s time to get away from all the daily routines that have taken over, and finally start creating space to take care of yourself properly. You might discover a lot of new things, both internally and externally, the moment you start listening more to the sounds that resonate within you.
Take advantage of all this free time in a new environment to have a ‘beginners’ mind – approaching everything with openness, eagerness and a lack of preconceptions – just as a beginner would look at the world around them.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at one of the yoga retreat weeks in Bali at Alila Manggis.
Book now while we still have space available and start looking forward to that well-deserved me-time.
See you at The Sounds of Harmony Yoga Retreat in Bali!

Joining a yoga retreat is a perfect excuse to get back to basics. Society almost expects us to be available 24/7 with a lot of distractions from our modern ways of communication. How much time do you spend on social media or glued to your phone? This is a chance to switch off and be in the moment, away from digital distractions!
Take the time to learn to be conscious of the moment you’re in and increase mindfulness. We can often find ourselves living in the future as we plan ahead, and in the past as we feel with what has happened throughout our lives. On this yoga retreat, you can just BE.
If you find it impossible to silence your mind, always thinking of the next thing on your to do list then this retreat is a great opportunity to stop overthinking. You get to turn off all the noise of your own voice and open yourself up to a more positive way of thinking. The retreat incorporates time for meditation and you can speak to our teacher about helping you to harness your thoughts.
If you struggle to find time to practice yoga in your everyday life then the benefit of going on a yoga retreat is being able to practice every day without distraction. Even the most seasoned yoga practitioner can deepen their practice on retreat and aim to reach the next level.
The traditional benefit of yoga was instilling the mind, and going on retreat will allow you to focus on this more deeply. Instead of coming relaxed out of a class and going back into your busy home life you now can carry that calmness with you throughout the rest of the day, and the retreat in general. The retreat will give you a space to meditate fully, without any distractions.
If you are experiencing stress from your current situation you can take a step back and evaluate where you are from a distance. When you are too close to the situation or fully in it, most often it is difficult to see the actual problem or find out in what direction the solution might be. A retreat can give you the benefit of distance in order to re-evaluate.
Attending a retreat can give you a new perspective, whether it’s about your own life or through learning about a new culture. You never know what you can learn from others that can affect your future choices, or make you see your own circumstances in a different light.
The vegetarian food offered on our retreat is chosen with care for your health and wellbeing. It is an opportunity to eat well without having to worry about it yourself, and it’s a habit you can take home with you.
Yoga is not only about physical poses, it is just as much about the mind. You’ll be given a chance to connect more deeply with yourself through practicing yoga and understand more about this ancient art.
It is a vacation with the benefit of improving your health. When you leave, you have exercised your body and relaxed your mind, feeling healthier in both.
Give yourself an opportunity to truly relax and make time for yourself. Planning a vacation can be hard work, and it’s difficult to disconnect and really restore your energy reserves when you are out on a mission to tick boxes of the must sees. On a retreat you focus just on the retreat... and you will return home feeling refreshed.
In addition to the surprise activity that is included in this yoga retreat, you can always book additional excursions (surcharge applies) through the reception desk of Alila Manggis. Among the offerings are e.g. Trekking trips, Deep Water Fishing trip, Snorkeling, Sunset boat trip or a Balinese Cooking Class.
(A supplement of 35% applies when booking for only 1 person)
