Chesa is a passionate folk dance teacher. Her journey into European folk dance began in 2012 through the street dance movement known as Mazurka Klandestina. This experience opened the door to the rich world of social and traditional dances.
She continued her training by attending workshops, festivals, and teacher training programs with associations and instructors from across Europe. After a long pause, Chesa and her husband, her long-time dance partner and constant presence in classes, decided to share and spread their passion for folk dance within a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
Her repertoire ranges from Balfolk and various European folk dances from east to west and Middle Eastern dances, as well as line dances and other social dance forms. This diversity allows her classes to offer both depth and variety, while remaining accessible to dancers of all levels.
Her teaching approach emphasizes connection, musicality, and enjoyment of movement, rather than performance or technical perfection.
