Sound Healing at The Yoga Rescue
A calm reset you can feel in your body
Sound healing, sometimes called a sound bath, uses resonant instruments to create sustained tones and gentle vibrations. In our sessions, different sound-producing instruments are used together, including Tibetan singing bowls, to create a rich and immersive soundscape. You do not have to “do” anything perfectly. You lie down, breathe, and let the sound wash through you. For many people, it is one of the quickest ways to shift out of a busy head and into a calmer, more grounded state.
Tibetan singing bowls form an important part of each sound healing session. Their layered tones, a mix of low hums and shimmering overtones, create a foundation of sound that fills the space. When bowls are played around the room, the sound arrives from different directions and at different intensities. That is part of the experience, your attention naturally softens, your breathing slows, and your nervous system gets a chance to downshift.
In a sound healing session different instruments are used to add depth and variation. Different frequencies and textures are layered to guide the body and mind through waves of sound. Deeper tones support grounding and release, while lighter sounds create openness and clarity. The combination allows the experience to unfold gradually, without effort or expectation.
Why Sound Healing sessions are loved by many?
Sound healing is often experienced as deeply relaxing and calming. Many people notice better sleep, a quieter mind, and a greater sense of ease after a session. While everyone’s experience is different, the gentle combination of sound and vibration can help the body let go of tension and settle into a more balanced state.
It can be a supportive practice during periods of stress, overstimulation, or mental overload, offering a way to slow down.

The new moon is an opportunity to pause and reflect on the past, releasing what no longer serves you. Set intentions for the new month as the harmonizing sounds and vibrations from singing bowls help guide you into theta or alpha states. This process activates your parasympathetic system, bringing you into a restorative state. As you achieve this state, your body will facilitate the release of what no longer serves you....

Themed sound healing events
We regularly hold themed sound healing sessions, for example, around the New Moon or Full Moon. These sessions follow the same sound healing approach, using multiple instruments, including Tibetan singing bowls, but are held with a specific intention or theme in mind. Many people enjoy these events as a moment to pause, reflect, and reset in rhythm with natural cycles.
